Fraser Rogers to race WSS with Com Plus SMS Racing

Czech Republic Team Com Plus SMS Racing has signed the young British rider Fraser Rogers to compete in the FIM Supersport World Championship. Following a successful wild card ride in Jerez at the last round of the 2013 season, Rogers steps up after three seasons in the CEV 125GP and Moto 3 Championship's in Spain.


Team Manager Jan Saska said: "We are preparing for our fourth season in the World Supersport Championship in 2014 and we were looking for an injection of young fresh talent into the team. We worked together in Jerez and I have seen the potential capability and aptitude of Fraser. I believe he has the potential to become an extremely successful and competitive rider over the coming years."


Rogers said: "I am extremely grateful to Com Plus SMS Racing and Jan Saska for giving me the opportunity to ride with them in Jerez at the last round. I am very confident, that we have the potential to be in the top ten next season. This is a new era for me, the winter test in January in Spain and Philip Island in February will allow me time to get used to the Honda."
